Paid leave
The employee is entitled to annual continuous paid leave. The length of leave is equal to:
- 20 days – before 10 years’ service;
- 26 days – after 10 years’ service.
Periods of previous employment, despite breaks in employment and the method of termination of employment are included in the years of service, which provide the basis for the right to paid leave and its length.
Time spent on one’s education is also added to the number of years of service.
- Paid leave in the case of part-time work
Part-time employees are entitled to paid leave proportional to their working time. This means that an employee working e.g. part-time is entitled to 10 or 13 days of paid leave, depending on the aforementioned standard paid leave (20 and 26 days).
- Principles for granting paid leave
Paid leave is granted on days which are normal working days of the employee, in accordance with a valid working time schedule. Paid leave is recalculated to the number of hours, corresponding to the daily work time of the employee on a given day.
